Plumber - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer London & Southeast (excluding the Essex area) We are currently working with a well-established facilities maintenance and project delivery business that is expanding its mobile engineering team across London and the South East, not covering the Essex area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plumber or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to secure a permanent position with a forward-thinking employer offering strong earning potential, long-term stability, and genuine career progression. The Opportunity You will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance, repairs, and minor project works across a portfolio of commercial sites located throughout London and the wider South East (excluding Essex). The role suits motivated engineers who take pride in their work and are comfortable working independently while maintaining excellent client relationships. Regular training and development will be provided, with clear opportunities to progress as the business continues to grow. Salary & Package * £35,000 – £38,000 basic salary * Annual salary reviews * Regular overtime available – OTE £50,000–£55,000 * Company van & fuel card * Power tools provided (if required) * iPad / mobile device supplied * Uniform provided * Pension scheme * 28 days holiday (20 days + bank holidays, with additional days for long service) Key Responsibilities * Attend and respond to reactive maintenance repairs within agreed SLAs and KPIs * Accurately log job details using handheld devices * Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs * Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues * Identify and report additional works required * Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations * Maintain a proactive approach to health & safety * Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota (minimum once per month) * Support refurbishment and upgrade works as part of the projects team Requirements * Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) * Strong experience in first and second fix plumbing * Confident fault-finding and leak diagnosis * Commercial maintenance experience desirable * CSCS card advantageous but not essential * Able to work at heights * IT literate (iPhone/iPad/Android devices) * Full UK driving licence * Flexible, motivated, and able to work under pressure * IPAF / MEWP desirable (training available if not held)
