Junior Logistics Assistant

Your new company A London-based agri-industrial company focused on developing sustainable agricultural supply chains and food security projects, primarily across Africa and emerging markets. The Junior Logistics Assistant will support the Logistics Specialist in the coordination and administration of logistics and supply chain activities across agricultural and joint‑venture operations. This role is suited to someone organised, detail‑oriented, and keen to develop hands‑on experience in logistics and supply chain operations. Your new role Assist with the coordination of transportation and general supply chain activities Support day‑to‑day communication with logistics advisers and agricultural farm teams Help track the movement of equipment, materials, and agricultural products from suppliers to joint‑venture companies Maintain and update logistics records, documentation, and data accurately Assist in monitoring delivery timelines and perform basic budget and cost tracking Liaise with farm managers, vendors, and external logistics providers as directed Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day logistics operations Carry out any other reasonable duties consistent with the role and level of responsibility What you'll need to succeed Some prior exposure to logistics, supply chain, operations, or logistics administration Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic data tracking Ability to follow processes, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn Italian language skills are desirable but not essential!What you'll get in return Competitive salary Company benefits Exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in Logistics What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
