About the role

Full-Time | Long-Term from September | Aspire People are recruiting for a Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive primary school on a long-term basis starting in September. The school is seeking a strong, experienced classroom practitioner who is confident teaching in Upper KS2. Due to the nature of the role, applications from ECTs will not be considered, as the school requires someone with prior experience delivering the KS2 curriculum and managing a class independently. There is flexibility for the successful teacher to begin before September to support transition and planning. The Role: * Full teaching responsibility for a Year 5 class * Delivering engaging and challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum * Preparing pupils for the transition into Year 6 * Tracking and supporting pupil progress through assessment * Maintaining strong behaviour management and expectations * Working collaboratively within the KS2 team The Ideal Candidate: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Proven experience teaching within KS2 (essential) * Strong knowledge of English and Maths curriculum * Confident, organised, and adaptable * Able to work independently and as part of a team Why Apply: * Long-term opportunity with stability * Early start option available * Supportive leadership and team * Dedicated consultant support Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
