Customer Services Assistant
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Services Assistant to support a fast-paced customer service function. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a seamless customer journey from order placement through to delivery. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships, managing orders accurately, and resolving queries efficiently. Working within a supportive and energetic team, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while developing your own skills in a growing and forward-thinking business environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Process UK sales orders accurately, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Respond promptly and professionally to customer and internal enquiries
Support key account activities, including reporting and customer insights
Assist with cost-saving initiatives and service improvement projects
Process invoices, credit notes, and sample orders with accuracy
Manage incoming orders via EDI systems and internal platforms
Provide telephone support and assist the wider team during peak periods Education & Skills Required
Previous experience in a customer service or order processing environment
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Confident communication skills and relationship-building ability
Proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities
Competency in Microsoft Office and order management systems Additional Information
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days from home
On-site parking
25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
