Support worker required
We are currently seeking a Female Support Worker to provide care and support for a young person with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, possess excellent communication skills, and have a compassionate attitude towards others. It is essential to be sensitive to the needs of the individual in your care.
The main responsibilities of this role include assisting with dressing, bathing, and feeding. Having knowledge of using hoisting equipment would be beneficial. Previous experience in a caring role would be an added bonus.
Before commencing employment, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced CRB check. While having an NVQ 2 or above in a care environment would be desirable, it is not essential.
The working hours for this position are split over the week hours to be discussed.
10-11 hours per week and weekends are 1 in 4 working saturday 9-10.30 and 4-5 Sunday 9-10.30 and 4-5.30
The specific times will be discussed to ensure coverage for sickness leave, and additional hours may be required to cover holidays. Flexibility in availability would be advantageous
