TIG / MIG Welder Fabricator 📍 West Yorkshire (Huddersfield area) 💷 £14.00 – £15.50 per hour (DOE) 🕒 Full-time | Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG / MIG Welder Fabricator to join a busy and well-established sheet metal fabrication and engineering workshop in the West Yorkshire area. This role is primarily TIG-focused, working to a high standard on thin gauge materials, with some MIG welding required as part of the fabrication process. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: * TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium * MIG welding as required for heavier or structural components * Fabrication of sheet metal components from engineering drawings * Working on items such as enclosures, cabinets, frames, and bespoke metal products * Cutting, bending, forming, and assembling metal parts * Operating workshop machinery (press brake, guillotine, laser-cut parts assembly) * Ensuring all work meets quality standards and specifications ✅ Requirements: * Strong experience in TIG welding and fabrication * Ability to read and work from technical drawings * Experience with thin gauge sheet metal work * Good MIG welding ability (supporting skill) * High attention to detail and quality workmanship * Reliable and able to work independently or within a team 💡 * Experience working in a sheet metal or production environment * Familiarity with laser-cut and folded components * Previous experience in full fabrication and assembly
