About the role
At Nexperia Manchester, we are strengthening our Semiconductor Integration Team with the addition of an Integration Engineer. In this role, you will be at the heart of innovation, working on the introduction of new platforms, products and technologies in the fab. This is your chance to make a direct impact on the future of our products and processes as part of a company that produces over 100 billion devices every year.
All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying.
What you will do
As an Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, yield and technology advancement across our high-volume semiconductor fabrication environment, helping shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing on site.
You will:
Resolve high-profile fabrication incidents using structured problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma, 8D and KT to protect output and customer quality
Plan, execute and analyse engineering trials across diffusion, assembly and life-test processes
Develop robust process modules and produce clear, accurate process and project documentation
Lead feasibility studies on new technology concepts and process changes, including experimental design, risk analysis, trial execution and constructional analysis
Demonstrate expertise in key process engineering areas while maintaining strong all-round knowledge of fabrication flows
Facilitate silicon qualifications to optimise yield, manufacturability and integration performance
Support business-critical engineering activities across the organisation, applying your technical insight to drive continuous improvement
This role offers the satisfaction of seeing devices progress from design to production, while making a tangible impact on Nexperia s future technologies.
