The Role:
The organisation is seeking an experienced and detail-focused Restoration Technician to join their established team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working on heritage vehicles including Aston Martin DB4, DB5, DB6, DBS, V8, and pre-war Lagonda models. The role involves full mechanical restoration processes from initial strip-down through to final assembly and road testing.
Key Responsibilities: Complete mechanical strip-down, rebuild, and reassembly of classic vehicles
Diagnosis and rectification of mechanical and engineering faults
Build-up of vehicles from bare painted body
Road testing and final quality verification
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Ensuring all work meets the high standards expected in concours-level restorations
Upholding the craftsmanship and quality reputation of the business
About the Candidate The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Significant experience within classic car restoration or a premium automotive environment
A solid amount of experience working with classic vehicles (essential)
A strong mechanical background with relevant qualifications
A meticulous and detail-driven approach to workmanship
A genuine passion for heritage and performance vehicles
Strong ability in traditional, hands-on mechanical craftsmanship
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
8:00am 4:30pm
No weekend working
40 hours per week
Salary & Benefits: £30,000 £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
28 days holiday including bank holidays
