Duration : 12 months
Location: Christchurch - BH23 4JE
Hourly Rate: £57 PAYE or £76.98 Umbrella
Working Arrangement: 3 days on site – flexibility required
Role Overview
You will support the Lead Human Factors Specialist in delivering Human Factors Integration and User-Centred Design activities across complex, safety-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Support Human Factors Integration across system design and development
Engage with users and stakeholders through workshops and trials
Assess equipment, prototypes, and mock-ups against user needs
Conduct Human Factors analyses (e.g. task analysis, usability, workload, human error)
Support integration testing and verification activities
Contribute to reports and programme deliverables
Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 5 years' Human Factors experience in defence or xwzovoh safety-critical industries
Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Knowledge of Human Factors Integration principles and Def Stan 00-251
Qualifications
Degree (or equivalent) in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or Engineering
Professional membership of CIEHF or working towards chartership
