- £55,000 to £60,000 Car Allowance Bonus Leadership autonomy | High-acuity services | Supported living & community care | Career progression Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for a role where you can take full ownership of services, drive quality, and lead high-acuity care packages? This opportunity is based in East London and focuses on Learning Disability and Mental Health services across supported living and community settings, including complex packages with 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1 support.
The Role As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day and strategic management of complex LD and Mental Health services.
This role combines operational leadership with governance, quality assurance, staffing, and occupancy management, giving you full visibility and control across your services.
You will play a key role in stabilising services, improving outcomes, and maintaining strong relationships with commissioners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Manage supported living and community-based LD and Mental Health services Ensure full CQC compliance, safeguarding, MCA, and DoLS adherence Lead audits, inspections, and action plans across services Oversee care plans, PBS strategies, risk assessments, and documentation Manage high-risk placements, incidents, and safeguarding investigations Lead recruitment, staffing, performance management, and retention Reduce agency usage and improve staff consistency Monitor occupancy, manage voids, and support referral pipelines Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, commissioners, and MDTs Work closely with internal teams including HR, governance, and operations Track and report on KPIs including occupancy, incidents, compliance, and staffing Requirements Experience as a Registered Manager within Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health Strong background in supported living or complex community care Experience managing high-acuity packages (2:1, 3:1, 4:1) Strong knowledge of CQC, safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, and compliance Experience leading audits, quality assurance, and service improvement Strong leadership and people management skills Commercial awareness including occupancy and service sustainability Please note: Candidates must have direct experience within LD or Mental Health complex care.
