Assembly Operative The Role Assemble luminaires and accessories to achieve daily production requirements, and when required, support the warehouse team in receiving, storing, picking and packing goods for dispatch. Key responsibilities include: * Assemble products to specifications, following defined processes & training * Monitor the production process and carry out testing and quality checks * Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications * Report product, design issues, or working environmental issues to management or directors * Carry out autonomous maintenance of work areas * Pack goods, with protective materials ready for shipment * Contribute to continuous improvement activities * Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with Health, Safety and Environmental standards About You I'm looking for someone who is technically curious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their skills. * Manufacturing experience working in an assembly cell ideally working with electrical products * Technical knowledge of products preferable * Basic production planning and scheduling * Quality control of finished goods and inspection of raw materials. * Working to production targets and KPIs What’s on Offer Health & Wellbeing * 22 days holiday, increasing to 25 with service * Additional time off over the Christmas period * Cycle to Work scheme * Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Benefits * Competitive pension scheme * Access to employee perks and discounts platform Career Development * Structured annual reviews * Ongoing training and development opportunities
