Electrical Panel Builder Location: Sudbury Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrical Panel Builder on behalf of our client based Sudbury on a temporary to permanent basis. Roles & Responsibilities Assemble and build electrical control panels, cabinets and enclosures to specification. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings and bills of materials. Mount electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, terminal blocks, PLCs and power supplies. Perform panel wiring including cable routing, stripping, crimping and terminating conductors. Label components and wiring in accordance with standards and project requirements. Carry out point-to-point wiring checks and continuity testing. Inspect completed panels to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards. Troubleshoot and correct wiring or component issues. Follow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace. Maintain tools, equipment and report faults. Work independently or within a team to meet deadlines. Complete basic documentation and support general electrical assembly tasks. Additional Responsibilities Experience in electrical panel building or electrical assembly Experience working with control systems and electrical components Experience, Skills & Qualifications · Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings · Knowledge of electrical components and control systems · Experience using hand tools, power tools and basic electrical test equipment Working Pattern & Benefits Hours: Mon-Thurs 6:30am - 5:00pm Benefits: Overtime available Salary: £12.70 - £15.00 per hour Market 36 Recruitment Ltd cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, HR & Finance and IT.
