EHC Assessment and Review Officer West Yorkshire Local Authority £280 per day | Fully remote | 3-6 month initial contract A Local Authority in West Yorkshire is currently seeking an experienced EHC Assessment and Review Officer to join their SEND service on an interim basis. This is a fully remote role offering a strong daily rate and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality statutory SEND practice within a busy and supportive team. Role Overview: The role involves a combination of EHCP plan writing, amendments, and casework, alongside regular engagement with families, schools, and multi-agency partners. Strong relational practice is essential. Key Responsibilities: Writing and amending Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) Supporting casework across assessments and annual reviews Working closely with families, schools, and partner agencies Ensuring high-quality, person-centred outcomes for children and young people Requirements: Strong SEND casework experience within a Local Authority Confident understanding of EHCP processes and statutory requirements Ability to manage relationships across education and family settings Strong communication and organisational skillsIf this role is of interest, please get in touch for further information.
