Project manager - Design and Build - Essex

An experienced Project Manager is required as soon as possible for a young, growing Essex-based Design and Build company. The role entails managing multiple construction jobs - value up to £2m - from pre-start to handover, on high-end residential and commercial projects. The role is the focal contact point for several sites with duties that include: * delivery of work to programme, budget and schedule * co-ordination of suppliers, labour on-site and subcontractors * establishing and developing excellent client relationships * monitoring work progress and resolution of issues * registering regular site reports and updates * costings and budget and close liaison with the company's commercial team * adherence to UK Building Regulations and Health and Safety legislation * site inspections and promotion of site safety * variations and adaptations to works as required Applicants are required to have proven - 5 years plus - relevant Design and Build experience with first-rate organisational and communication skills plus: * SMSTS * First Aid * Relevant Construction Management qualification (HND/HNC) * Full, clean UK driving licence This is a superb opportunity with a young, dynamic company that offers real scope for career development in parallel with the growth of the company.
