Qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX), or active progression towards qualification through SQE or CILEX
* Experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload with appropriate supervision
* Good understanding of AML compliance, source of funds requirements, and risk management
* Penderlaw Solicitors, a well-established and highly regarded law firm in the heart of Truro, is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join our successful Residential Property Department.

Our office is centrally located in the heart of Truro and is open plan and air-conditioned.
While the role is primarily office-based, flexible working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
Auction conveyancing
* Drafting loan agreements and legal charges
* Transfers of part, including building plots
Additional Commercial Property Exposure
Although the role is primarily residential conveyancing focused, the department also undertakes a range of commercial property work. Depending on your experience and interests, you may gain exposure to:
* Grant and assignment of commercial leases
* Commercial mortgages and funding arrangements
* Compliance, Client Care and Teamwork
Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures, including AML and source of funds checks
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments, including Matrimonial and Private Client teams
* Supporting the continued growth and success of the department through effective file management and commercial awareness
* Participating in departmental and firm-wide training initiatives
Confident managing residential conveyancing matters
* Interested in developing broader property law experience, including commercial property work (desirable but not essential)
