Purchasing and Planning Manager

Purchasing & Planning Manager East Sussex | Advanced Manufacturing   We are recruiting an experienced Purchasing and Planning Manager for a growing, innovation-led advanced manufacturing business.   This is a senior, hands-on position with responsibility for production planning, purchasing and scheduling, while leading and developing a multidisciplinary team.   Key responsibilities: Lead, support and develop a team of four professionals Drive production planning, purchasing and scheduling performance Maintain 95% on-time delivery to customers and from suppliers Develop scalable systems and processes to support continued growth Identify and implement operational improvements Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Sales Contribute commercial and operational insight to strategic decisions The ideal candidate will have: At least 10 years' experience in purchasing and planning within a low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment A minimum of five years' leadership experience A strong track record in production planning and purchasing Experience within advanced manufacturing Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills A resilient, adaptable and results-focused approach A degree or equivalent experience Some pre-arranged travel to customer sites, meetings and industry events may occasionally be required.   This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious, high-growth business and play an important role in shaping its future operational success.   To find out more, please contact Recruitment South East in confidence
