Location: Colchester, CO7
Pay: £13.30 - £13.50 per hour
A busy fresh produce company in Colchester is looking for a Line Leader to join the production team. This is a hands-on role working on a fruit packing line, supporting staff, and helping daily production run smoothly.
The role would suit someone with experience in food manufacturing and team leading in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Be Doing
Supporting and organising staff on the packing line
Helping the team meet daily production targets
Packing fresh produce when needed
Making sure orders are completed correctly and on time
Checking product quality and packaging standards
Reducing waste where possible
Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
Training and supporting team members
Maintaining HACCP and BRC standards
Requirements
Previous Team Leader or similar experience in an industrial environment
Food manufacturing experience is essential
Good understanding of HACCP and food safety
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and leadership skills
Full UK driving licence required
Must have the right to work in the UK
Working Hours
5 days per week on a rota basis (Monday to Sunday)
07:30am 5:00pm
Flexibility needed, including xwzovoh some later finishes up to 8:00pm
