Packaging Assistant

Our Client in Lancing, West Sussex, are online retailers of organic, healthy whole foods and eco-friendly lifestyle products. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer/ Packaging Assistant to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently packing products, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to the timely dispatch of goods. Pay: £12.71 per hour Plus Holiday pay paid weekly = £508 per week Plus Holidays = £26,436 per annum. Hours: 8.30am to 5pm-Mon to Friday- Plus overtime available on saturdays. 40 Hours/week- Paid to account on Fridays-Timesheet hours paid. Responsibilities * Carefully pack products according to specified guidelines, ensuring items are secure and undamaged during transit * Inspect products prior to packing for quality and accuracy * Maintain organisation of packing stations to optimise workflow efficiency * Assist with inventory management by accurately recording packed items and updating stock records * Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times * Support team members with additional warehouse duties as needed to meet daily operational targets Experience * Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided * Experience in assembly work or related roles will be considered a plus * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Temp to perm Benefits: * Casual dress * Company pension
