The Role: You will be responsible for a balanced portfolio of duties: nurturing strong relationships with existing, valuable clients (Account Management) while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities (Business Development). Existing Customer Focus: Maintain and grow revenue within an established client base, ensuring high levels of service delivery and client retention. New Business Generation: Proactively source and convert new clients. You will be empowered to hunt for your own leads and build your pipeline from scratch. This is not a high-pressure, relentless cold-calling environment. We are looking for strategic thinkers who thrive on building genuine, long-term partnerships, not just transactional wins. Who This Role Suits: The Operations Expert Seeking Sales: If you are currently working in Freight Forwarding Operations (imports, exports, customs, or multi-modal) and possess excellent communication skills, a commercial mindset, and the drive to move into a customer-facing sales role—this is your perfect transition. Your operational knowledge is your competitive edge! The Experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Professional: If you have a proven track record in Account Management or Business Development within the freight forwarding sector and are ready for a role where you can truly influence growth without the bureaucracy of a large global firm—we want to hear from you. Crucially, you need to be comfortable selling a premium service based on quality and expertise, not a globally recognised brand name. Your resilience, market knowledge, and relationship-building skills will be the key to your success.
