About the role
We are currently recruiting a Depot Supervisor to join a well-established agricultural company, that provides support and products relating to land management and crop production.
Reporting in to the Regional Manager, the successful candidate will be based out of the Tunstall Depot and required to supervise the distribution centre efficiently, safely and productively to ensure the highest levels of customer service and company standards are met.

Duties to include but not limited to:
* Operational management of the depot, ensuring the process of picking, packing and preparation of products/items ready for distribution.
* Stock control and management to ensure stock levels are maintained.
* Ensure all transactions are permissible and within the requirements of Finance, BASIS, Poisons regulations.
* Ensure security of company cash, stock and property.
* Maintenance of internal and external standards for compliance including but not limited to BASIS, Water and Fire Regulations, Health and Safety Executive, and Ministry of Transport inspections, Working Time Regulations legislation (e.g., but not exhaustive – Poisons regulations, Health & safety at Work Act, Fire Regulations, VOSA)
* Ensure all depot activities comply with legislative standards for storekeeping requirements (BASIS).
* Monitor and audit the depot to ensure full compliance with company audit procedures.
* Maintain appropriate accounting and reporting procedures in relation to all company monies and stock.
* Undertake duties of the safety officer in respect of employee and public in the depot area.
What we are looking for:
* Farming/Agriculture experience (desirable)
* Team management experience
* BASIS Storekeeper qualification (desirable)
* Valid UK Driving Licence Holder
* Customer centric approach with excellent communication skills
* Self-motivated, and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* IT literate
* Stock management experience
* Understanding of Transport regulations
