Support Worker (Early Years) - East Linton Primary School - EAL12587

The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly. Hourly rate of pay: £15.16 - £16.30 This is a 39 week sessional post i.e. working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days. East Linton Primary is a traditional Victorian stone built, single storey building located in the beautiful village of East Linton. The current school role is 218 catering for children from Nursery to P7. We are looking for an Early Years Support Worker who is enthusiastic and passionate about Early Years provision and who will continue to develop and encourage best practice in delivering this at a high standard as we move to a term time model in our nursery. To work in support of early years 'staff by contributing towards the creation of a warm, friendly, safe and caring environment for children aged 2 –5 years. Must hold an SVQ in Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF Level 6 (or an alternative SSSC recognised equivalent qualification). Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or willingness to work towards gaining it. This post is considered as a Regulated Role with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
