Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Hertfordshire Contract Type: Flexible Salary: £93 - £100 Start Date:ASAP About the Role One of our partner SEN schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and nurturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education and committed to helping young learners thrive in a positive, inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS activities Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development Observe and record pupils’ progress, contributing to assessments where required Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Support children with additional needs, ensuring all pupils can access learning opportunities Contribute to the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school or nursery) A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification) A good understanding of the EYFS framework Strong communication and teamwork skills Patience, creativity, and a caring attitude A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children What We Offer: A welcoming and supportive school community Opportunities for professional development and training A collaborative and experienced staff team A rewarding role where you can make a real difference Safeguarding Statement Teaching Personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
