HGV Class 2 Driver – Skip & RORO Experience | Didcot Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with proven expertise in skip and/or RORO vehicle operations? Our client, based near Didcot, is looking for a reliable driver to handle local drops to construction sites and domestic deliveries. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a trusted logistics provider, working regular hours from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Why you’ll love this role: * Competitive salary offering a clear and appealing weekly rate * Stable, regular hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am – 5 pm * Work locally around Didcot and surrounding areas – no long-haul drives * Join a respected client with a strong reputation in waste and logistics * Supportive team environment with a focus on safety and professionalism What you’ll be doing: * Operating HGV Class 2 vehicles, primarily skip and RORO trucks * Performing mostly local deliveries to construction sites and domestic customers efficiently and safely * Loading and unloading skips, ensuring correct placement and secure transport * Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any issues promptly * Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork * Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies * Communicating clearly with site managers and office teams to ensure smooth operations What we’re looking for: * Valid HGV Class 2 licence with current CPC * Proven experience driving skip and/or RORO vehicles * Strong knowledge of local routes around Oxfordshire and nearby areas * Excellent timekeeping and reliability * Ability to follow safety guidelines and company procedures * Good communication skills and a professional attitude * Previous experience working for employers such as Biffa, Viridor, or Veolia is highly advantageous Ready to take the next step?
