Management Accountant

Management Accountant Salary: £45,000 Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Shetland – HQ) We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our growing team. This is a primarily remote role, offering flexibility alongside the opportunity to visit our Shetland headquarters on an occasional basis. Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts * Deliver financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making * Manage budgeting and forecasting processes * Monitor financial performance and identify variances, providing clear explanations * Support year-end processes and liaise with external auditors where required * Improve and streamline financial processes and reporting systems * Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial guidance across the business Requirements * Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) * Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a management accounting or similar role * Strong analytical skills with attention to detail * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders * Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely * Willingness to travel occasionally to Shetland What We Offer * Competitive salary of £45,000 * Flexible, remote working environment * Opportunity to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team * Varied role with exposure to key business decisions If you’re a proactive finance professional looking for a flexible role with real impact, we’d love to hear from you
