Project & Design Engineer The Company An established and growing engineering business, part of a larger international group, specialising in high-performance products for harsh and demanding environments. The Role A hands-on position offering full product lifecycle involvement from concept through to production, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop new products from concept to manufacture * Produce and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings * Design components and tooling * Support prototype development, testing and validation * Maintain and update engineering documentation * Ensure compliance with standards and specifications * Assist with inspection and testing of components Requirements * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar * Approximately 3+ years in a design engineering role * Experience delivering products through the full lifecycle * Proficient in CAD (ideally SolidWorks) * Experience with prototyping and testing * Strong communication skills and attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple projects independently Desirable * Basic coding knowledge * Experience with ERP or engineering systems Package * 27.5 days holiday plus bank holidays * Private medical insurance * Bonus scheme * Pension * Death in service and income protection * Early finish on Fridays
