Personal Care Assistant

Personal carer need to join a lovely little team which offer round the clock care for our 19 year old son who has Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, and other ongoing health issues. to provide care in his own home. Do you have 2 years experience or a qualification in care? Are you able to commit to a shift pattern through the week and some occasional weekend shifts? Are you experienced in providing a high a level of personal care? Do you have a happy personality and a passion for improving people's lives? Do you have experience in administering and giving medication? Can you keep detailed written records? Do you hold a clean driving license? Can you keep calm and respond to well in different situations? If you have answered yes, we would love to hear from you. We can offer the right person a contract based on either a part time or full time hours. All expenses covered. An indepth induction with shadowing shifts, online training and training from other professionals. Our shifts consist of a waking night (8pm-8am), a split shift (phone number removed)am and (phone number removed)pm), afternoon hours (4-8pm). Starting pay is £13.91 for the probationary period and then it would increase to £14.44 with regular reviews and pay increases, on completing the probationary period. We offer a weekend enhancement of an additional £1.21 per hour and double time for bank holidays. All expenses will be paid. This role can be an immediate start once references and other checks are completed. An enhanced DBS will be needed for the post and we would sign you up for this if you don't already hold a transferable DBS. We look forward to hearing from you
