Technical Project Manager / Engineering Lead

OverviewWe are seeking a senior Engineering Lead / Technical Delivery Lead to drive delivery across a strategic portfolio of enterprise risk and compliance platforms. The role spans a mature RegTech (Obligation to Control) implementation entering build, alongside an earlier‑stage Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) initiative focused on prototyping and roadmap definition.This role requires strong delivery discipline and the ability to translate complex regulatory and business requirements into executable scope, and confidence operating as the primary UK‑based engineering contact in a regulated, enterprise environment. Details Location - London Rate - up to £750/day Inside IR35 via Umbrella Hybrid - 3 days / week Duration - Initially until year-end (multi-year project) Key Responsibilities Act as the single engineering lead across risk and compliance delivery initiatives Translate high‑level regulatory and business requirements into clear technical scope and delivery plans Lead end‑to‑end delivery governance covering design, build, implementation, and readiness Define feasibility, scope boundaries, and delivery approach for TPRM prototype / POC Orchestrate architects, BAs, engineers, risk, compliance, and vendor teams Engage senior UK‑based stakeholders and drive progress with minimal direction Key Skills & ExperienceEssential Experience as an Engineering Lead, Technical Delivery Lead, or Senior Technical Project Manager Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle Proven ability to assess feasibility, scope, and delivery approach Experience delivering workflow, case management, or integration‑led solutions Comfortable coordinating multiple teams rather than building hands‑on Strong stakeholder management in complex, regulated environments Experience in risk, compliance, controls, or RegTech programmes Strong Financial Services ExperienceDesirable Exposure to Oracle (ERP / PaaS) and/or Microsoft Power Platform Familiarity with SaaS platforms and enterprise architecture If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
