The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TIG welding, particularly with thin-gauge stainless steel (1–2mm thickness), and possess the ability to work with various sheet metal materials. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to fabricate and assemble components to meet precise specifications.

Key Duties

* Perform TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel and other materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.

* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to prepare materials for welding and fabrication.

* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements.

* Conduct measurements and calculations to ensure accurate cuts and fitment.

* Assemble fabricated components according to specifications, ensuring structural integrity.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.

* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process.

* Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

* Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in TIG welding, ideally with thin-gauge stainless steel (1–2mm).

* At least 2 years’ experience in fabrication (preferred).

* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the fabrication process.

* Able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

* Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

* Mechanical knowledge for understanding equipment functionality and troubleshooting.

* Experience working with sheet metal is preferred.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong communication skills.

* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Working Hours

*Monday to Thursday: *8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

*Friday: *8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

*Breaks: *1 hour per day (45-minute lunch, 15-minute tea break)
