Teaching Assistant – UB10 Location: UB10 Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only A friendly and welcoming 2-form entry primary school in UB10 is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them stay engaged in lessons and supporting their overall development. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will: * Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN * Help pupils access learning in line with their individual needs * Support pupils’ social, emotional, and mental wellbeing * Encourage engagement and positive behaviour in lessons * Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and support staff * Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment About You * Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or nursery setting is essential * Minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification (Supporting Teaching & Learning, Early Years, CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) * Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Reliable and committed to supporting pupils’ development * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service What’s on Offer * Supportive leadership and welcoming staff team * Ongoing professional development opportunities * Opportunities for long-term placement and progression * A rewarding role making a real difference in pupils’ learning and wellbeing
