Candidate required: Shuttering Carpenter Job Type: Temporary Start date: 05/05/2026 Working Hours: 08:00 AM - 18:00 PM Industry: Construction Trades Location: Brighton, East Sussex Rate of Pay*: £220-£240 Per Day Level of experience, qualifications & related training*: Blue CSCS Card & Own Tools Duration required: 2 MonthsJob description: Shuttering Carpenter required for a Industrial project. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Shuttering Carpenter to assist our client with a project based in Brighton, East Sussex. Own transport and tools required. Daily responsibilities will include: Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager Builds temporary wooden or steel molds to shape poured concrete for structures like walls, foundations, slabs, & columns Setting up steel rebar within the formwork before the concrete is poured Interpreting construction drawings to ensure the mold matches the required dimensions & shapesRequirements for the role A valid CSCS card- Blue CSCS Card Preference Previous Shuttering Carpentry experience References upon request You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.Training/Progression opportunities: · There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management *Rate of Pay · Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
