Job Title: SEN Tutor Core Subjects (Salford) Location: Salford Pay Rate: GBP25 per hour (starting rate) Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week Are you passionate about helping students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) overcome learning challenges? Do you have the experience and dedication to support students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or those working below expected levels? If so, we want to hear from you! Were looking for an experienced SEN Tutor to join our team and start ASAP in Salford. You'll play a key role in delivering tailored lessons in core subjects (Maths and English) that are designed to bridge learning gaps and foster growth. Key Responsibilities: Deliver one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons, tailored to SEN learning profiles. Adapt lesson plans to suit the student's emotional regulation and learning needs. Build confidence in students' subject knowledge, study habits, and exam readiness. Develop a supportive, safe, and consistent learning environment that encourages student growth. Regularly monitor and report on student progress to parents/carers or professionals as required. Essential Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in Maths or English. Experience working with SEN students in a one-on-one or small group setting. Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one). Desirable Qualifications: PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
