We are working in partnership with a large, inclusive four-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Deputy Headteacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior leader to play a key role in driving school improvement and shaping the next phase of the school's journey.

The Role
As Deputy Headteacher, you will work closely with the Headteacher to provide strategic and operational leadership across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the development and delivery of the school's vision and improvement priorities
Leading on key areas such as teaching and learning, curriculum, assessment, or behaviour (depending on experience)
Driving high standards of pupil achievement and progress across all phases
Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff to ensure consistently high-quality teaching
Contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture where all pupils can succeed
Supporting safeguarding, wellbeing, and effective day-to-day school leadershipThis role offers scope to shape whole-school practice and have a significant impact on outcomes for pupils.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a committed and forward-thinking leader who:
Has successful senior leadership experience, ideally at Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher level
Demonstrates a strong track record of improving teaching and learning outcomes
Is passionate about inclusive education and meeting the needs of diverse learners
Has the ability to inspire, challenge, and support colleagues effectively
Possesses strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
Has a secure understanding of curriculum development, assessment, and school improvement
Is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupilsWhy Apply?
