The successful candidate will be hands-on in shaping projects from early feasibility through to detailed design, working on a wide range of developments that demand smart, sustainable, and resilient solutions. Day to day, the engineer will be producing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies, designing surface and foul water drainage systems, and contributing to flood alleviation and coastal erosion schemes. For those not yet chartered, the position offers clear support and encouragement to progress towards professional qualification. The ideal candidate will already have experience in a consultancy environment, with a solid understanding of SUDS, attenuation systems, and infiltration design. Confidence using Civil 3D and InfoDrainage is essential, alongside strong written and verbal communication skills that allow technical ideas to be clearly articulated.
