Handyman

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing snagging and finishing work on residential properties based in Heybridge CM9. Responsibilities * Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards * Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and drywall installation * Assist with installation of fixtures, appliances, and equipment as required * Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition for optimal performance * Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently * Collaborate with property managers or clients to prioritize urgent repairs * Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes * Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and parts used * Support renovation projects by preparing work areas and assisting skilled tradespeople * Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after repairs Experience * Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role * Skilled in multiple trades such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, or painting * Knowledge of safety procedures and building regulations * Ability to diagnose issues accurately and execute effective solutions * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail * Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients * Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between sites If you are interested in the role, please apply or call us on (phone number removed)
