PROJECT COORDINATORAbout the Role – Project CoordinatorWe are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Project Coordinator to join an established projects team within a specialist engineering and manufacturing environment. This is a key position supporting the delivery of customer projects from order through to completion, ensuring documentation, communication, and timelines are accurately managed across internal teams, suppliers, and customers. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a central role in maintaining project visibility, supporting design and production workflows, and ensuring contractual commitments are met. Key Responsibilities – Project Coordinator Review information received from the sales team and support the CAD design function in translating this into manufacturing drawings and production schedules Maintain and update project timelines, issuing updates to customers in line with agreed contractual requirements Ensure all project documentation (drawings, specifications, communications) is accurate, current, and distributed to the correct departments Manage and update customer information across online portals and cloud-based systems (e.g. 4Projects, Oracle Aconex and similar platforms) Attend customer and project meetings, providing updates on progress and capturing clear actions for internal follow-up Distribute and track meeting actions across relevant internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion Liaise with suppliers and the wider supply chain to ensure key deliverables and commitments are met Produce and maintain accurate internal and external project reporting Support accounts-related queries by liaising with customers and internal finance teams to resolve issues affecting payment Prioritise workload effectively in line with project demands and business requirementsSkills & Experience Required Strong communication skills – confident on the phone, in meetings, and via email High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in written and numerical work Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments Previous experience in engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments is highly advantageous Comfortable working with structured processes, documentation, and project timelines Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyTraining ProvidedFull training will be provided across key systems and processes, including: MRP system (in-house training) Scheduling and works instructions Group reporting tools Online customer portals and web-based systems Product and technical knowledge (in-house) OverviewThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong coordination and communication skills who enjoys working in a structured, technical environment and wants to build a long-term career in project delivery within engineering and manufacturing.
