Site Manager

Abatec is recruiting for a freelance Site Manager to join a recognised regional contractor on a civil engineering project in Bridgwater The successful candidate will have a previous background in civil engineering, groundworks and earthworks. As a Site Manager you will: * Oversee the day-to-day site activities, ensuring safe and efficient project execution. * Support and drive continuous improvement within the project delivery team. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations. * Work closely with the client, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong relationships. * Monitor project progress, managing budgets and schedules effectively. * Identify and mitigate risks to avoid project delays and cost overruns. * Lead site teams and foster a positive, safety-focused working environment.
