Job Description: This CNC Programmer/Engineer role is ideal for someone with strong CNC milling, turning, and sliding head expertise who enjoys both hands-on machining and process improvement. The successful CNC Programmer/Engineer will manufacture tooling, fixtures, jigs, and bespoke components while supporting prototype builds and engineering-led improvement projects. A key part of the role is programming Fanuc-controlled machines from scratch, optimising existing programs, improving cycle times, troubleshooting machining issues, and ensuring all parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards. You will work closely with engineering, production, quality, and tooling suppliers to improve manufacturing performance and minimise downtime. Skills & Experience: * Time Served Machinist * Proven experience across CNC lathes, mills, or sliding head machines. * Programmed Fanuc machines from scratch. * Experience of CAM/Offline programming. * Confident reading engineering drawings. * Experience producing tooling, fixtures, and high-precision components is essential.
