Purchasing & Planning Manager

An exciting opportunity to join an established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Purchasing & Planning Manager to lead procurement and production planning activities. This is a key role where you will take ownership of supplier performance, material availability, and production scheduling to ensure efficient and on-time delivery. Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 Location: UK (On-site) East Sussex Full-Time | Permanent Essential Requirements: * Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within manufacturing * Experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control * Strong supplier management and negotiation skills * Experience using ERP/MRP systems * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Desirable: * Experience managing or leading a team * Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies * Experience working in precision engineering or technical manufacturing environments * Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Engineering Recruited UK will make every effort to respond with feedback although this is not always possible.
