This role sits within a nurturing, child-centred environment supporting children with autism and associated needs. The focus is on functional, meaningful interventions including sensory regulation, emotional regulation, and daily living skills. The setting allows therapists to work closely with students over time, providing a unique opportunity to see real progress and outcomes. This is a 12 months maternity cover contract but it has possibility to extension into a permanent role. Both full-time and part-time hours are considered. Responsibilities of Occupational Therapist: Managing a paediatric caseload within a specialist school setting Delivering functional assessments and tailored interventions Supporting sensory processing, emotional regulation, and daily living skills Working closely with education staff, families, and MDT colleagues Contributing to EHCP processes and reviews Implementing evidence-based therapy approachesRequirements for Occupational Therapist: HCPC registration (or eligibility) Degree in Occupational Therapy Experience with paediatric caseloads (autism experience desirable) Understanding of sensory integration and functional OT approaches Strong communication and teamworking skillsYou can send your CV directly to me at If this opportunity isn't the right fit but you know someone suitable, we offer a £200 referral bonus
