Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Salary: £85k Our client is seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional with a strong background in heritage and commercial projects to take ownership of multiple schemes and contribute to our continued success. About the Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring cost control, profitability, and compliance across a diverse portfolio. You will work closely with Contract Managers and play a key role in financial reporting and project delivery. Key Responsibilities * Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective cost control and commercial performance * Prepare and present Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs/CBRs) * Work closely with Contract Managers, providing accurate reporting and commercial insight * Oversee tender processes, including pricing and evaluation of tender-led projects * Manage contracts including Measured Term Contracts (MTC) and day works * Ensure projects are delivered within budget, from small works to multi-million-pound schemes Requirements * Professional certification such as RICS or CIOB (or working towards) * Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline * Strong background in cost control and commercial management * 10–15 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role * Proven experience managing a range of project values (£500k – £5M) * Experience working on commercial and/or heritage projects * Strong knowledge and understanding of listed buildings * Exposure to a variety of contract types including MTC and tender-led projects What they’re Looking For * A proactive and commercially driven individual * Strong analytical and reporting skills * Ability to manage workload across multiple projects * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Opportunity to work on a diverse range of interesting and challenging projects * Established and respected company with a strong reputation in the industry * Supportive and professional working environment If you are an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you
