Moulding Assistant - machine operations Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience) + overtime Reporting to: Manufacturing Manager About the Role We're excited to offer an opportunity to join a fast‑paced manufacturing business based in Macclesfield. We design and produce a wide range of innovative products for UK wide customers, and we're now looking for a Moulding Assistant to strengthen our growing production team. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing quality work. You'll be part of a supportive team where your skills are valued and there are real opportunities to develop and grow. Key Responsibilities As a Moulding Assistant, your day‑to‑day duties will include: Setting up and operating moulding machines Running machines efficiently to meet production targets Carrying out quality checks on finished products Accurately recording production timings Managing and monitoring stock levels Supporting the Moulding Team Leader with daily tasks Assisting in other production areas when requiredMachines you'll work with include: Sandretto 485 Sandretto 200 Boy 55 or Boy 80 What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate: Previous moulding experience (preferred but not essential) Experience setting up and running machinery Ability to read and follow job sheets and care sheets A proactive, independent approach to work Strong awareness of health & safety practices Good problem‑solving skills Ability to meet deadlines and production targets Flexibility to support different departments as needed Why Join Us?
