Post: Social Worker Multi-Disciplinary Homeless Support Team Mid Ulster (NI30/05/26/1v-1)
Salary: Grade 5: £27,786 per annum, plus annual £3,000 social worker allowance (pro rata)
Hours: 40 standard hours (including breaks) (Flexibility Required)
Contract Status: Permanent
Location: TBC, Mid-Ulster Area
About the service:
At present we require a Social Worker in the Mid-Ulster area, delivering intensive tenancy support to those at risk of homelessness. The Multidisciplinary Homeless Support Team (MDHST) has operated since 2006, through the Belfast team and in recent years, dispersed outreach in Mid Ulster, South Eastern region and Enniskillen.
The team offer a range of professional interventions and have developed successful partnerships with core agencies across the statutory, voluntary and community sectors to advocate for appropriate service provision and support planning with the aim of realising the potential of each service user.
The Social Work value base underpins this role as does the spirit of co-production and teamwork.
