Contract Type: Temporary-Permanent
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm 6:00am
Overview We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Machine Operator to join a busy and fast-paced production environment in Banbury. This is a full-time temporary position offering consistent night shifts and the opportunity to develop your skills within a well-established manufacturing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, supporting production processes, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities Operating machinery in line with training and health & safety procedures.
Assisting with general production and manufacturing duties.
Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults or issues.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Supporting other departments and team members where required.
Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is preferred.
Machine operating experience would be advantageous.
FLT (Forklift Truck) experience or licence would be beneficial.
Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working permanent night shifts.
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Suitable Previous Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following roles or environments may be well suited to this position:
Machine Operator
Production Operative
Manufacturing Operative
Assembly Operative
Packaging Operative
Food Production Operative
Printing or Packaging Industry experience
Automotive or Engineering production environments
CNC or Mechanical operating experience
FLT Driver or Material Handling roles
