Hours: 40 hours p.w, typical shifts are 7 am - 3.30 pm, 12.30 pm to 9 pm (Monday to Sunday as rostered)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Chef de Partie to join the Catering team at The London Clinic. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality food services for patients, visitors and staff while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, food safety and presentation.
Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will help supervise junior kitchen staff and support the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Food Production
Work across all kitchen sections including Larder, Sauce and Vegetable Sections
Supervise and support Chef de Parties during daily operations
Assist with bulk menu production and daily food preparation
Prepare meals in line with SOPs and dietary requirements
Ensure food is professionally presented and delivered on time
Maintain clean work areas and equipment
Promote a safe working environment and lead by example
Stock & Hygiene Control
Maintain stock levels and minimise wastage
Follow food storage and HACCP procedures
Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Ensure all food is labelled, stored and handled correctly
Report incidents, hazards or maintenance concerns promptly
Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH and Manual Handling guidelines
General
Support the Head Chef and Senior Chefs as required
Attend mandatory training and development sessions
Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information
Undertake any other reasonable duties within the role
Essential Requirements:
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 Food Production, City & Guilds equivalent or higher
Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience within a private hospital, restaurant or 4/5-star hotel environment
Skills
Passion for food and hospitality
Strong food preparation and kitchen knowledge
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Strong attention to detail
