An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the the Renault Truck Commercials Network - RTC in Faversham, Kent This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 qualified HGV Technician or Level 3 qualified LCV Technician to join our thriving and busy Kent Dealership. Main Duties: Shifts: - 40 hour week * Hourly rate is up to £21 pr hr negotiable * Early Shift 06:00 - 14:30 | Late Shift 13:30 - 22:00 * Alternate Saturday's 06.00-12.00 * Extra payments for Saturday mornings, Standby and Call Out Responsibilities summary: * Ensure your work is carried out as efficiently as possible and you are following the Service Process Maps * Ensure you are fully briefed on job requirements and budgets per up-front job specifications * Provide diagnostic outcomes and accurately specify repair solutions * Ensure time recording procedures are complied with including correct use of codes as per productivity policy * Ensure fully specified jobs are given to CSR for invoicing Knowledge: * Significant experience of working as a Dealership Technician within the Commercial vehicle industry * Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual. * The application of Standard Times * Knowledge of the Service Process stages relevant to the role * An appreciation of our customers, the environment in which they operate and the direct impact we can have on their business * Technical product knowledge Required Competences * City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology - HGV or LCV * To be able to work in an organised & methodical manner ensuring that all daily tasks are completed * To be able to modify your approach in specific circumstances to ensure a positive outcome * To be able to understand & analyse technical issues & propose appropriate solutions * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Benefits: * 25 days rising with service. * Pension scheme * Healthcare Scheme * Employee discounts across retailers, cinemas, ++++ * Cycle to work scheme * Assistance in gaining a Class 1 & 2 Licence if applicable Renault Truck Commercials is an Equal Opportunities Employer
