Quantity Surveyor Construction

We Recruit Group is working on behalf of a growing specialist contractor delivering façade remediation and fire safety projects across London and the South East. Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team on a range of high-profile remediation and cladding replacement schemes. The Role You'll take commercial responsibility for multiple façade and remediation projects, working closely with the Commercial Director, Project Managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably and commercially managed throughout. Responsibilities include: * Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts * Valuations, applications for payment and variations * Cost reporting and forecasting * Contract administration * Managing change control and commercial risk * Final accounts * Working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance About You * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction * Experience working on façade, cladding, remediation, fire safety or external envelope projects is highly desirable * Good understanding of JCT contracts * Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills * Able to work independently and manage multiple live projects * Available to start at short notice What's on Offer? * £350 per day * Long-term freelance opportunity * Immediate start * Secure pipeline of projects across London * Opportunity to work with an established and growing specialist contractor * Hybrid working available depending on project requirements If you're an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor looking for your next contract, we'd love to hear from you
