Help shape Scotland's road network with Carnell. We're seeking an experienced Site Manager to support the safe and successful delivery of essential highways projects across the region. Travel, working away, and day/night shifts form part of this varied, hands-on role. What You'll Be Doing * Coordinating the delivery of highways, drainage, trenchless remediation and civils projects * Supporting and developing site teams, supervisors and subcontractors to achieve shared goals * Promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring high standards of quality and environmental compliance * Building trusted relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders * Helping projects stay on track, meet expectations and deliver great outcomes first time * Contributing to the continued growth and success of our Scottish operations What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, supporting others and building positive relationships, alongside: * Experience within highways or civil engineering projects * Knowledge of drainage construction and highways standards * Experience coordinating teams on live highway networks * A good understanding of health and safety requirements * Excellent communication, planning and relationship-building skills * Confidence working with clients, colleagues and supply chain partners * Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel * SMSTS, CSCS and a full UK driving licence * HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent in Construction or Project Management Join Us If you're passionate about delivering high-quality infrastructure, leading high-performing teams, and making a real impact on Scotland's road network, we'd love to hear from you.
