Electrical Engineer

Electrician, Prestwick, £840.00 basic per week, OT Paid at 1.5x, 40 hours per week, Temporary to Permanent Benefits * £840.00 per week (Basic) * Temporary to permanent opportunity after 13 weeks * 40-hour working week * Overtime paid at 1.5x * Static site-based role * Regular 1-week shift rotation Responsibilities * Shift Times: Early: 5:30am–2:30pm | Late: 9:00pm–6:00am * Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance * Diagnose, fault-find and repair industrial equipment * Maintain control panels, wiring, motors and electrical systems * Maintain plant machinery including conveyors, process machinery and steam boilers * Complete electrical installation and system upgrade work * Respond efficiently to breakdowns and minimise production downtime Requirements * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer * Experience within FMCG, automated manufacturing or industrial environments * Food manufacturing experience preferred * Recognised Electrical NVQ qualification * Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Ability to work rotating early and late shifts
