Vehicle Technician

Our client, a leading automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple locations nationwide, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy team in Banbury. Benefits for the Vehicle Technician: Competitive starting salary between £30,000 and £33,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience Uncapped monthly bonus scheme, with average earnings exceeding £3,600 annually 32 days annual leave, including bank holidays, plus an extra day off for your birthday Optional overtime paid at standard rates In-house training and career development programmes Contributory workplace pension scheme Opportunity to work with the UK's fastest-growing tyre retailer Guaranteed 42.5-hour week over five days Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, and alternate Saturdays, 8:00am-4:00pm (with a weekday off when working a Saturday)Duties of the Vehicle Technician: Conduct accurate tyre repairs and fitting across all vehicle makes and models Perform routine maintenance, including servicing and inspections Carry out repairs such as brake, exhaust, suspension, and wheel alignment on cars and vans/LCVs Remove and refit components, ensuring proper adjustments and documentation Work with high standards of quality workmanship Assist at the front reception with customer enquiries when required Maintain detailed records in line with company policies as a Vehicle TechnicianRequirements: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, gained through employment or apprenticeship Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months with minimal points Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Banbury Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude Ability to produce high-quality work within designated timeframes Demonstrated competence in tyre fitting, routine servicing, and minor repairsContact Sarena Abbott, Automotive Recruitment Specialist at Perfect Placement covering Banbury and Oxfordshire, today to discover more about this fantastic Vehicle Technician opportunity.
