Grit Blasters (EfW & Power Station Projects)

Logical Personnell Soultions are currently recruiting experienced Grit Blasters to work on a range of Energy-from-Waste (EfW) facilities and power station projects across the UK. This role involves industrial surface preparation in demanding environments, supporting maintenance and refurbishment operations. Key Responsibilities * Carry out abrasive blasting (grit blasting) on steel structures, pipework, and plant equipment * Prepare surfaces to required industry standards prior to coating/painting * Operate blasting equipment safely and efficiently * Maintain equipment and ensure work areas are kept clean and hazard-free * Work in confined spaces and at height where required * Adhere strictly to site health & safety regulations at all times Requirements * Proven experience in industrial grit blasting (power stations or EfW preferred) * Valid safety certification (e.g., CSCS card or equivalent) * Confined Space Medium Risk * Ability to work long 12-hour shifts in physically demanding conditions * Strong awareness of health & safety procedures * Full PPE required What We Offer * Competitive hourly rates (DOE) * Long and short-term contract opportunities * Overtime and weekend work available * Opportunity to work on major UK infrastructure projects How to Apply If you are an experienced Grit Blaster looking for your next contract role, please submit your CV or get in touch for more details.
